Three Teachers

“There are three teachers of children teachers in the classroom at any one time: The Educator, The Child, and The Environment.”

Care, love and intention expressed through the environment are imbibed unconsciously by children.

Teacher Training & Empowerment

  • Our schools invest in ongoing in-house teacher development to enable educaters to understand the  developmental needs of young children and provide timely individualised interventions.
  • 500 hours of continuous teacher enrichment program
  • We prepare educators to embrace all children in a circle of care and warmth to provide a secure inner and outer environment for these formative years.
  • The adult: child ratio is 1:8 and the classes house two teachers in a class of 32 students till Grade 5.

Parent as Partners

  • We aspire to partner with the parents and enrich the child’s experience and environment in these formative years. The relationship between educators, parent and child is deepened over time through a variety of means: workshops, engaged discussions, meaningful conversations, celebrations and community outreach.

Parent Engagements

  • Expert Sessions are an opportunity to grow as parents as we connect, discuss child development and parenting issues in attempt to understand the child and us as parents.
  • Outreach program to encourage reading and working to better our community.
  • Parent led endeavours promoting parental involvement and fostering a sense of community, Kilkari– our Diwali mela being one of them.
  • Crews working together to solve a problem including inquiry -based learning, authentic learning, and discovery learning.
  • Children making choices as they explore material, resolve conflict or forge friendship during free play time.
  • Freedom to engage in parallel, group or individual learning.
  • Breathing circle that provides freedom of movement and expression while working with socio-emotional harmony.

Enabling environments mobilize the energy, attention, curiosity and focus of children

  • With the aim to create a joyful, nurturing and vibrant space that stimulates children’s curiosity and imagination as well as their instinct for exploration and inquiry, careful thought has been put into every aspect of design.
  • The campus lays emphasis on spaces that are designed to propagate learning and are seamlessly integrated with curriculum that mirrors our ideas, attitude, ethos and living culture.

Learning Overview

At the HXLS Sector 64 Campus, learning is designed to engage the mind, body, and spirit in a balanced and meaningful way. Rooted in mindfulness and experiential learning, our curriculum nurtures compassionate, thoughtful, and discerning learners who are empowered to turn ideas into action.

Our aim is to create a joyful and inclusive learning environment where children feel safe, confident, and connected to themselves, their peers, and the world around them.

From the early years through middle program, relationships remain at the heart of learning, supported by meaningful rhythms, real-life experiences, and hands-on exploration. This strong foundation gradually evolves into deeper learning through Relationship, Rigour, and Relevance, preparing students to become curious, creative, and responsible global citizens.

Leadership Message

From the Principal’s Desk

At HXLS, learning spaces are thoughtfully designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and meaningful engagement. The environment is seamlessly integrated with the curriculum and supports learning across physical, social, emotional, and imaginative dimensions. Our campus is designed to create a joyful, nurturing, and vibrant atmosphere where children feel encouraged to explore, inquire, and learn independently. Every aspect of the space — from furnishings and play materials to activity areas and social spaces — has been carefully planned to support holistic development. Keeping children at the centre of the design, facilities such as play equipment and washrooms are child-friendly and encourage independence and confidence. The use of calming colours and thoughtfully designed spaces ensures an environment that is stimulating yet balanced, allowing children to feel comfortable, focused, and inspired to learn.
